After a long divorce and after living at my parents house for over a year, I decided it was time to start the hunt for my dream house. "We came to Alberta from BC a few months ago with the intention of buying a house in Cochrane. We had rented a small apartment initially to give us a base to work from. We had no idea what was involved in buying a house in Alberta. One thing we did know and soon found out is that it was different from BC.
